Stuffed Puppettheatre, Holland:
Schickelgruber alias Adolf Hitler

Click to see large picture We are at a birthday party. Adolf Hitler is celebrating his 56th birthday in a bunker. The days of the Nazi regime are numbered, as well as the days of Eva Braun and the other chosen few who are included in the celebration. The situation is tense and the partygoers are disturbed by the continual sounds of shots of the advancing Russian troops.

Using large puppets and music, Neville Tranter takes a closer look at this moment in time. In a fantastic interplay between the puppets, with humour and great psychological insight, Neville Tranter goes behind the masks.

This is Stuffed Puppettheatre's most recent production, and like all of the other productions from this theatre, it is also a performance of great and unique puppetry art. At the moment this performance is on a successful international tour.

The audiences can look forward to this latest visit to Silkeborg by an exceptional theatre.
