Danish premiere
Mimika Theatre, England:
Landscapes
A performance without words which in a wonderful way takes children on a journey with great contrasts to four different landscapes in the world of nature. From the desert to the Antarctic and from the jungle to the bottom of the ocean.
Along the way we meet animals, which live in these landscapes: penguins, crocodiles, snakes, etc. The animals are beautifully carved and are small works of art by themselves. This show takes place in an indoor tent with fantastically coloured shadow theatre on the sides of the tent as the set design.
This is a very special, unique and moving theatre experience for both children and adults.
The Danish actress Lisbeth Knopper will give an introduction to the performance.
In the newspaper: "Landscapes by England's Mimika Theatre is the wordless magic of the small, the quiet, the personal. It conjures, in succession, four worlds and lets them gradually sink in… a beautiful charmer of a show." (Edmonton journal, Canada)".
